welcome.
♡
My musical heart resonates with the piano, saxophone, and bass. These instruments are why I have ears. Creativity is my constant companion. I love creative writing, poetry, art, web-design, interior design, R&B/Jazz, roller-skating, and dark aesthetic restaurants.
HOOKS:
R&B music is deeply ingrained in my soul. While I may not have the gift of singing, I started to create music because of my boyfriend. He has true musical talent. He plays every instrument, sings and plays the keyboard at church. He's inspired me to be brave enough to explore new creative paths. What brought us together is our shared passion for creativity and how similarly we think. He pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, encouraging me to write hooks and even sing them. He mixes the music and without his confidence in me, this is something I never would have ever tried.
He has helped me grow in ways I never expected, teaching me to always be willing to try something new. He teaches me many other things outside of music as well, I'm constantly becoming a better person because of him.
POETRY:
My love for R&B aligns with my love for words and poetry. I feel things so deeply. Through writing, I find my voice, and poetry offers me a channel for self-discovery and connection with others. It's a way to create vivid imagery, stir deep emotions, and remind us that, as humans, we all share this universal experience of life.
I am a very passionate person and put my all into everything I do. Creation, in all its forms, is a source of fulfillment for me. Whether it's forming words on a blank page, sketching ideas, or designing things in a digital world, the act of creating makes me so happy. It allows me to make my innermost thoughts into tangible forms, bringing ideas and visions to life. When I see the finished product of something I made, I can't help but equate that to how God must have felt when he created the galaxy, the world, and everything in it—including me and you.
ROOTS:
I was born in California, spent a few years in North Carolina, was raised in Las Vegas and have called Dallas home for the past 7 years. I stem from a very big family. My dad and I are members of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians tribe, and he still lives on that Rancheria today. Fun fact- he has his own roofing business and he built his own house! I love learning about our family's history and culture from him and my grandma. They educated me on past experiences that my family and tribe have endured, as well as keep me informed on current events within the tribe. From my mama's side, I am Mexican and European.
I have 7 siblings—4 half-siblings on my dad's side, and 2 half-siblings and 1 adopted sister on my mama's side. One of my sisters was born with Oromandibular Limb Hypogenesis Syndrome, a rare condition making her wheelchair bound for life. Growing up, my mama always opened our home to neighborhood kids, family friends' children, and foster children. We adopted one of the babies we fostered, who has been my sister since she was just 6 months old.
My mama has an incredible heart for serving others, and she’s instilled that same spirit of compassion and empathy in me. Watching her care for so many children taught me the true meaning of selflessness. It wasn’t always easy growing up with so many kids around, but it showed me some of life’s most important lessons.
Having a disabled sister, along with the other kids in our home who had Autism and Down Syndrome opened my eyes in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. It taught me patience, humility, and how to live with deeper gratitude. There’s something profoundly humbling about caring for someone who needs extra attention or support. It forces me to slow down, appreciate the small moments, and be fully present with others. Watching these children navigate the world in their own way, without expectations or comparisons to others, showed me how much strength, resilience, and beauty exists in diversity. It taught me that life isn’t about perfection, but about connection, acceptance, and loving others where they are.
I'm an introvert so you won't find me in big circles, but I value and cherish close, intimate relationships with people. I thrive in 1 on 1 connections. I have a few really good friends who bring value, depth, and authenticity in my life, and that means so much to me.
CAREER:
I spent 6 years working in Human Resources, a role that helped me grow as a person. I used to be very timid and shy, but working in HR pushed me to interact confidently and walk with assurance. I am very detailed oriented and organized which helped me excel in that field. I specialized in onboarding, orientation, offboarding, I-9 compliance, and credentialing for medical staff. I was cross-trained in employee relations, mentorship, benefits, and administration.
For the past 9 months I've been working at a law firm where I facilitate client interactions, coordinate meetings and depositions, and handle various administrative tasks. I’ve learned that acquiring diverse skill sets is invaluable, and that one’s career doesn’t define them, though I find myself missing the HR Field! While work is necessary for survival, what truly defines me is God's Word, my relationships with loved ones, and the passions that God has so generously given me. I believe that we should never limit ourselves to a single path, but instead embrace the fullness of what life offers.
I deeply value integrity, kindness, forgiveness, patience, and humility. Everyone on earth is a creative. We were all designed to be creators, each with different interests, passions, and skillsets. I encourage everyone to embrace your differences and your God given gifts. Pursue any and every interest without self-imposed limits.
Thank you for taking the time to read! I hope my words make you feel something. Much love. ♡
